Book Discussion: We invite you to join our society in the reading of a book together. We will read one book in the Fall and one in the Spring. We then will set up small groups of people (5 or less) to discuss what we have learned, questions we have, and how the book speaks to our leadership of three stream Anglican communities. We will have a moderator on these calls to cultivate healthy discussion.
This Fall we will read: Overcoming the Dark Side of Leadership: How to Become An Effective Leader by Confronting Potential Failures by Gary Macintosh. The book can be purchased via Amazon below.
Please sign up for one of the times to discuss. November 9, 11 or 13 at 3:00pm eastern via Zoom. First come first served, limited to 5 people. We will add more dates if these fill up so check back.
Clergy Connections with Bishop Jones
Once a month our lead Bishop hosts a Zoom call for all the clergy in our society. He leads off with his spiritual reflections on the month that speak to our current situation. Then we open it up for a brief check-in from each of our clergy. We believe the 1 hour a month where we can see one another’s faces and hear one another’s voices helps to remind us that we are not in this alone, that others are struggling with similar issues, and that we are a helpful resource to one another.
Please consider joining us for these calls!
October 13, November 10, and December 8 at 3:00pm eastern time.
